Copper Scroll Project Goals and Mission Statement

This website has been established to help insure that the Copper Scroll Research presented to the Israel Antiquities Authority on 14 December 2007 by Jim Barfield is properly tested and document by photography and the proper standards of archeology to determine if the items listed on the scroll still remain at the site determined by Mr. Barfield. The Copper Scroll, found near the Dead Sea in 1952,  is literally a copper metal document approximately seven feet long listing 60 locations of very large amounts of gold, silver, and gems from the time of Moses and from the time of King Solomon.

Research to the Director of the Israeli Antiquities Authority

The photo above (from left to right) is of Shuka Dorfman (the Israel Antiquities Authority Director) Yuval Peleg (IAA Archeologist) the lady is Shuka's secretary, then Yitzhak Magen (IAA Archeologist) and Jim Barfield. This photo was taken by Chris Knight during the second meeting where Jim was showing his research to the two archeologists for the first time. The meeting was arranged by Dorfman after he had seen Barfield's research at the Citidel Hotel in Jerusalem.
